API and webhooks

Connect Chatlyn to your own systems.

Open Developers to create API keys and webhooks and see your request logs. What you can use depends on your plan.

API keys

Send your key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. A key is shown only once, so store it safely. Regenerating a key stops the old one immediately. You can also limit a key to certain IP addresses.

Webhooks

Chatlyn sends signed events to your https URL. The X-Chatlyn-Signature header lets you check that they came from Chatlyn. Respond with a 2xx status within 10 seconds, otherwise the event is retried 5 times. A webhook that keeps failing for a day is switched off, and Owners are emailed.

Full endpoint details are in the Developers page of your dashboard.
